About Maria Isabel

I teach with the belief that anyone can learn. That an individual has a distinct learning style and own pace. Learning is a collaboration, hence good interaction between tutor and student fosters better understanding of the material studied. I encourage my student to advocate for him/herself.

About the lesson

Each learner is different, hence the lesson and instruction is individualized. I collaborate with parents, the school, and with the student towards a common goal. I tutor individuals with special needs who require specialized instructions in reading and literacy. Likewise, students who are learning English as a second language.
