About Aidan
I am a high-achieving recent graduate about to start Bachelor's of Business and Law at UTS. I have a strong academic background and experience supporting students with diverse learning needs. I am patient, organized and committed to helping young learners feel more confident in math by breaking down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps. I enjoy working with primary and early high school students, especially those who may need extra encouragement or a calmer, more structured approach. My focus is on building understanding, accuracy and long-term confidence, while creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I am passionate about helping students improve their skills and believe that with the right support, every learner can succeed in math.

I teach maths with a calm, structured and student-centred approach. My lessons focus on building strong foundational skills, improving confidence and making each concept easy to understand through clear explanations and step-by-step guidance. I adapt my teaching style to suit each learner’s needs, including students who benefit from additional learning support or a slower, more patient pace.
A typical lesson runs for 60 minutes and begins with a short review of previous content, followed by guided practice, worked examples and personalised feedback. I use simple explanations, visual strategies and plenty of practice questions to help students feel more comfortable with problem-solving and apply what they have learned.
As a high-achieving high school graduate with experience tutoring students with diverse learning needs, I understand the importance of breaking down difficult ideas and creating an encouraging environment. My goal is to help students develop confidence, accuracy and better study habits over time.
My lessons are suitable for primary students and early high school students up to Year 10. I welcome learners who need extra support, those wanting to strengthen their maths fundamentals or anyone hoping to improve their confidence and overall understanding.
