About StageSix
Stage 6 Tutoring is an online tutoring service run by experienced HSC teachers. Although our tutors are qualified to teach seven different subjects, Stage 6 Tutoring recognises the importance of specialisation when supporting students with a major work - which is why our sessions focus on the process of completing a Personal Interest Project as part of the Society and Culture course*.
The director of Stage 6 Tutoring received 97 for the Society and Culture course in 2009 before completing an undergraduate degree in which she majored in Sociology and minored in Psychological Science. She received multiple awards when completing her teaching qualification - including first place in the pedagogy unit Society and Culture in the Secondary Classroom - and is currently completing her Masters degree in Educational Research for which she has been placed on the Executive Dean's List in recognition of her academic excellence.
To date, the director has successfully supervised the completion of more than one hundred Personal Interest Projects as part of teaching and tutoring the Society and Culture course and consistently assists her students to achieve their full potential. This is evidenced by her students typically receiving their highest HSC mark in the course/s she teaches and even going on to tutor and teach the subject themselves.
The resources used in sessions by Stage 6 Tutoring tutors are tried and tested with innumerable students who have subsequently achieved Band 6s in the course and are personalised by the tutor to suit the needs of each student and their PIP topic. These include access to academic articles which students may otherwise need to pay for.

Tutors at Stage 6 Tutoring take a relaxed yet informed approach in their tutoring sessions. They will take the time to get to know you, your area of research, why you chose the topic and your current progress before then assisting you in completing primary and secondary research and communicating these findings.

30 minute sessions: $25
60 minute sessions: $50
PIP feedback: $30 per thousand words.
Sessions may be casual (as needed) or regular (reoccurring). All sessions will be run virtually and include access to resources created for the subject and paid academic articles (if required). The platform through which the sessions run can vary based on student preference.
