I structure my lessons around active engagement and real-world relevance. Starting with warm-up, easing anxiety, activating prior knowledge, and getting the brain ready to focus. I then introduce the topic and the goals through conceptual learning and active dialogue, concluding with a review of the previous lesson to clear up any misconceptions, ensuring clarity/understanding, and learning. I set the pace specifically to how their brain works. I teach them how to learn, not just how to memorise. Core concepts are broken down using visual aids or real-life examples. The interactive I do, we do, you do approach is used to solve problems together until you are comfortable enough to take the lead. Answers are not just given; I teach you how to figure them out on your own. This helps to build confidence, and encourages independence. I use the "teach back" principle, where students are asked to explain the steps of different level questions to me. This solidifies long-term retention, and is the fastest way to master concepts. We then review and set tailored homework targeting your areas of growth-no overwork, just what is needed for your success.
