About Nick
In 2014 I graduated with a 2:1 BA degree in Geography from Durham University.
After attending Hill House International School, I went to Westminster School and then to Haberdashers` Aske`s Hatcham College for sixth form. Since the age of 15 I have been tutoring pupils in a number of subjects including Maths, English, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Verbal (and Non-Verbal) Reasoning and Latin as well as History, Economics, Geography and Ancient Greek.
I have a wealth of experience tutoring children from the ages of 6 to 18, in particular in preparation for 11+, Common Entrance and GCSE examinations, ensuring attainment results for their desired secondary school ranging from Westminster, Eton, Harrow, Dulwich and St Paul's to the International School of Choueifat in Beirut. After leaving university, I worked full-time as a tutor for two years and currently I work part-time and I am available for tutoring in the daytime, evenings and weekends.
I stress the need to understand exam technique, and as well as building on the child`s knowledge within and beyond their curriculum, I teach to understand the demands of examinations, how to prepare well for exams generally and I help them to improve their confidence.
So far I have tutored over 100 children with consistently positive results, whatever the level of the child. I also have experience teaching home-schooled children and have done lots of online teaching as well.
I am available in and around London, as well as online.

Perfect! Excellent tutor

Nick worked with our son Mark to prepare him for the geography common entrance exam. He is very efficient, knowledgeable and pleasant all around. Within several lessons, Nick helped Mark to dramatically improve and to pass the exams with flying colours.
Nick helped our son (who attended a top London day school) for over a year, covering Geography, Math and Science. He was extremely polite, professional and punctual. He helped our son get organised with his school work, revision schedules for exams and of course going through the content. His calmness and patience made it easy for our son to get along with him and he looked forward to his sessions with Nick. During intense exam revision periods, Nick would also take him to the park for some down time and our son loved those breaks. Due to the strong bond that Nick created, our son did very well under his tutelage, improving his confidence and his exam results. I would highly recommend Nick as a tutor.
