About Adele
I am fluent in both French and English as they were both my first languages. I live in the US but frequently travel to France (every summer to be exact) and I speak at home with my dad. When I was younger, I went to the French immersion school EFB in Watertown. I’ve also taken French at GCSE level and IB higher level. I am very understanding with mistakes and am sure to push students to their full potential.

Our lessons will be personalized, so students can bring work from school, tests they need to review, or homework, and we will go over them in the lesson. I value practice and spoken language, so I will prioritize speaking out loud and back-and-forth practice. Every lesson will look different! Some will be more focused and methodical grammar lessons while others may be a 1-hour opportunity to speak to someone in French. I am always open to finding resources for students’ specific school curriculums (honors, GCSE, AP, or IB past papers or practice questions). I know plenty of French books and movies, so I will definitely give out recommendations—we will be able to discuss them in French during the lesson. If a student is just beginning to learn French, we will go over basic vocabulary, sentence structures, and conjugations.
