About Christopher
I have accumulated over 6,000 teaching hours over the last 7 years, with much of my experience overseas although I have also tutored professionals and taught in the UK. Prior to moving to the teaching profession, I worked in a variety of public and private sector roles and so I have real world and sound industry-based credentials in organising, relationship building, communication and presenting skills. I have helped to raise training standards for many businesses, enjoyed mentoring or helping people get through interviews, IELTS or Cambridge exams, master their command of everyday English or achieve personal development and career goals.
I have taught clients and groups across multiple industry and business sectors. I have trained as an Invigilator and Supervisor for Cambridge exams. My services involve the entire support package from learning needs analysis, study programme and curriculum development, student testing, diagnostics and regular reporting and feedback. I believe strongly in good relationship building and rapport to deliver fresh and stimulating lessons so students feel inspired and more confident in their command of English. I have a patient, determined and enthusiastic manner to encourage students to take their learning to the next level.

I specialise in Corporate and Business English and Exam Preparation for all levels, ages and backgrounds. I offer a highly personalised approach, targeted at exactly what the learner needs, lifting lessons from the mundane to deliver a strong fluency-based programme of conversational roleplay, motivational topics and diverse language content. The emphasis is on fun, engaging study and practical everyday application, where learning doesn't have to be a chore or feel like loads of paper exercises.
All the tools, strategies and building blocks will be put into place, with unlimited access to a treasure trove of resources and material so that you will be seeing demonstrable improvements and hitting those goals from the word Go! I really strive in carefully customised 1:1 tuition and put the student's concerns, learning outcomes and circumstances at the very heart of what I do.
