About Emma
I am a Patient, Empathetic and Intentional (KS2) Maths and Sciences teacher who loves to educate, guide students to success, and doesn't give up on students - making sure the lesson given fulfils what their academic goals may be. As a tutor, I will also provide helpful resources tailored to students' interests and learning styles to spark curiosity and support my students. With my personal experience of neurodiversity in education, I make sure my clients who are also on the spectrum are cared for by tailoring lessons to their adjustments.

A typical lesson will include some pre-work to prepare for the lesson, if required, or an opening interactive quiz to refresh knowledge. Depending on the student's learning style, we then engage with the content in line with the exam board, discuss strengths and weaknesses on the topic, and work through past papers and challenges to strengthen knowledge and the application of topics to exams and real life.
