About Jaclyn
I have worked as a tutor off and on for over a decade, as well as Teaching Assistant positions and informal mentoring. I have worked as an engineer at an Air Force Research Lab (AFRL), presented at two major physics conferences, and obtained a Master's of Science in Applied Physics from Stanford University. My perfect general GRE scores and exceptional Physics subject test score helped get me the opportunity to study with top scientists, and I hate to think that trouble with understanding one test could snatch that opportunity for someone else. I've always been able to understand the logic of standardized tests and how to the fastest effective strategies. I can help you perfect this ability to "speak multiple choice," as one of my former teachers called it. As for the Physics GRE subject test; it's a doozy. There's no getting around that. But it can be conquered! I raised my own score from about 30th percentile in my first practice test up to 89th percentile (930 raw score) on a test taken exclusively by physics grad school hopefuls. And my study method has only been refined in the time since. I can help you beat this monster of a test and get the score you need.

I use a problem-solving, practice-focused method, where we discuss your thought process on practice questions and then analyze what went wrong (or right!)
