I am a retires space systems manager, especially with NASA astronomical satellites. I have been focused on how to explain the universe in understandable terms - even without too many equations. I follow my freshman advisor's - Professor Richard Feynman - approach to understanding.

I expect students to have some basic understanding of the subject, and focus on responding to the areas of their concerns one-on-one, or in small groups. i believe much of physics can be understood without too many equations, with the math a form of confirming their knowledge and understanding.
