I was twice state topper in various math olympiads and completed my graduation couple years back. We all know how grad schools will be, studying for exams is like starting them just a day or two before the exams. there is one friend in every group who explains the topics better than the lectures to his friends and they pass with flying colors because that one guy knows in what way should he explain to their peers. I was also a student couple years ago and I do understand how boring classes get when only technical stuff is going all around you without any descriptions or examples. when you understanding how the physics or math taught to you is being used in real life.
