About Lenka
I am a current third-year student at Cal Poly SLO, currently admitted as a blended Bachelor/Master in Statistics student. I have always enjoyed math, but without a doubt, have experienced the frustration of not understanding its difficult concepts. However, I've always made sure to put in the time and effort to understand concepts myself and also be able to help others do the same. In my free time, I love to read, cook, bake, play tennis, surf, swim, explore, camp, and do anything that has to do with nature/the beach. Whether you are looking for tutoring for elementary school math, help with university courses, or anything in between, I will help build your confidence in mathematics/statistics and prepare you for future courses.
My lessons focus on conceptual understanding through note-taking and practice problems, with guidance and assistance from me along the way. I know math and statistics are difficult subjects, but with just a little bit of practice, I am confident that I can help you understand the material more.
I also would love to help with building better study habits/college preparation, having gone through it all and having built a strong system myself.
