About Nathan
I am a teacher in an International school in Bangalore. I am currently teaching Statistics to AS-Level students. For both 10th standard and 12th standard, the board that I studied was CIE (Cambridge International Education). As such, I am familiar with the Cambridge method of learning and examinations.
Despite my being a math teacher, IGCSE history is another one of my interests. History was my favorite subject in school, and I am familiar with the syllabus and answering style of the IGCSE History papers as well.

I base my classes on ensuring that the students understand the core concept. Cambridge is different from the local boards because surface knowledge alone will not help when it comes time to write the exam. A formula sheet containing the most important formulas from throughout the year is provided to you; You will not get marks for being able to "recall" an important theorem. Rather, Cambridge focuses on ensuring that the knowledge is utilized. Questions in IGCSE papers are often intricate, tricky, and require a thorough knowledge of the topic.
I generally approach the topic by providing a situation in which the learners will attempt to solve a problem - the solution to which will be the topic being taught. By using constructionist teaching principles such as these, combined with a strict emphasis on practice and detailed understanding, the students will obtain a deep and thorough knowledge of the concepts being taught.

Details
The fee is 1,500 Rupees for AS and A Level Math and Statistics classes. For 10th Grade (IGCSE) Math classes, the fee is 1,200 Rupees, and for 10th Grade (IGCSE) History, the fee is 1,000 Rupees.
