About Ioan
I am a researcher and software engineer specialising in Artificial Intelligence, with an MSc background in AI and a strong foundation in mathematics, physics and computing. I have experience tutoring students and enjoy making challenging subjects easier to understand through clear explanations and practical examples.
My academic and professional work involves programming, mathematics, machine learning, data analysis and problem-solving, giving me a practical perspective that goes beyond textbooks. I am patient, approachable and happy to adapt my teaching to different ages, abilities and learning styles.

I teach STEM subjects with a focus on Physics, Computing and Mathematics, while also being able to support students in Chemistry and Biology. My lessons are adapted to each student's level, learning style and goals, whether they need help understanding fundamentals, preparing for exams or tackling more advanced topics.
I focus on understanding rather than memorisation. I break difficult concepts into manageable steps, use practical examples and work through problems together before encouraging students to solve similar problems independently. I also explain the reasoning behind formulas and methods, so students understand when and why to use them.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged when appropriate. I have an MSc-level background in Artificial Intelligence and experience explaining technical subjects through tutoring, academic work and practical projects. I welcome students from secondary school through university level, depending on the subject and topic.
