About Janice
I have tried to teach in ways to make it thoroughly interesting to the student. I want the student to be able to go home at the end of day and be able to explain something to his/her parents something they didn't know. I know they do that because the parents are continually coming back to me with this information.
I am dramatic in my teaching and because of this we have a lot of fun. I want to be able to take the edge off of any other issues the student may have and be able to focus on the lesson at hand.
I have not only had the great opportunity of teaching third grade and K-4 but have also been the director and administrator of a large day care in Florida. Children are my life and when I see the light bulb go on in their heads and the light transform through their eyes and smiles I know we are reaching them.

In a K-4 or third grade classroom I am sometimes, mistakenly called, "Mom". That should be a wake up call to teachers to remind them of how important they are to their students. I have so enjoyed teaching both of these classes as well as homeschooling and tutoring. As far as to my methodology is concerning I will use whatever means can reach the student as all students learn on different levels and via different means.
