About Milcah
I am 18 years old and I moved to the UK without speaking English. Within a few years I sat my GCSEs at a competitive school and achieved the highest results in my year — all grade 9s across every subject including triple separate sciences, and top of my school overall.
That background matters because I did not just get lucky with natural ability. I had to figure out exactly how to learn, how to organise information, how to practise effectively and how to perform under pressure — from a position where I was already behind. That process taught me more about studying than most people ever need to think about.
During sixth form I went on to mentor younger students in science, helping them understand content, approach exam questions and build confidence in subjects they found difficult. Seeing that work — watching students shift from frustrated to capable — is what made me want to keep teaching.
I now offer GCSE tutoring in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths. My approach is practical and systematic. I do not just explain content — I help students build a way of working that compounds over time, so that by the time exams come they feel prepared rather than panicked.

Most GCSE students spend too much time re-reading content and not enough time actually applying it — and that's exactly where marks are lost. My lessons are built around the opposite approach.
Each one-hour session focuses on understanding the concept briefly, then moving straight into practice — specifically the kinds of questions that test multiple skills at once, because those are the ones that appear most on exam papers and give you the most return on your time. We analyse questions together, link them back to the content, and I show you how to read what the examiner is actually asking for. At GCSE the questions are more repetitive than most students realise — once you spot the patterns, the marks follow.
From session one I also help every student find a revision system that genuinely works for them. I share my own method — the one I used to achieve grade 9s across all my GCSEs including triple separate sciences — and we build their approach from there. By the end you won't just understand the subject better, you'll have a clean, organised system you can trust all the way to the exam.
My lessons are best suited to GCSE students in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and Maths who feel like they're putting in effort but not seeing it reflected in their results. All sessions are online, one hour each, and structured so every minute counts.
