I have a 3.8 GPA in high school and I’m working to graduate early. School is unenjoyable and I get that. But don’t let it show in your work. English is a need not a want in order to graduate. So take advantage of the situation and try to enjoy the words “Today we’ll be writing an essay.”

Writing should be something you enjoy. I’ve never gotten a bad grade on an essay because I enjoy it. I’m not going to tell you what teachers say “writing is essential” because it shouldn’t feel like a need. Enjoy it.
