About Max
Hi, I'm Max! I'm currently a BSc Maths and Physics student at UCL.
Unlike any other subject I’ve studied, the elegance and emphasis on logical reasoning of mathematics is what sets it far apart. A maths problem is equal parts frustration and elation – the “Eureka!” moment that finally answers one that I have been wracking my brain to solve is a feeling like no other. I hope that, through my tutoring, I can share this feeling with my students and help them enjoy maths as much as I do.

Having achieved an A* in both A Level Maths and Further Maths, I am well-versed with the syllabus and am determined to help my students excel and gain confidence in the subject. I have experience tutoring maths at a primary school, where I encouraged students to use logical reasoning to work through tricky maths challenge problems in addition to simpler tasks. I have also privately tutored a GCSE maths student online, helping them grasp the key principles of past paper questions so that they could apply this knowledge and comfortably solve unseen questions in their exams.
