About Angelina
Hey! I'm Angelina and I've consistently mastered math subjects with a 97+ grade in each topic, including middle school math, algebra 1 & 2, geometry, trigonometry, and a 790 in SAT math.
I have almost two years of experience tutoring middle school students in 1-on-1 sessions, as well as several months of experience working with small groups of 2–8 high school students in a community volunteer program.
Math has always been one of my favorite subjects, and I'd love to help others understand it and feel confident in their abilities in solving tricky questions! My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to overcome challenges and improve their skills.

In my lessons, I encourage students to explain their thinking step-by-step, ask questions freely, and engage actively in the learning process. Instead of immediately correcting mistakes, I ask questions and give hints that lead students toward the correct process on their own. I also make sure to acknowledge correct steps in their thinking, helping students feel more confident and see their own progress. A typical lesson depends on the student's current needs and usually includes reviewing key concepts, practicing problems, and addressing common mistakes. I mainly focus on middle school and high school mathematics, including but not limited to Geometry, Algebra 1 & 2, Trigonometry, Calculus 1, and SAT Math.
I emphasize patience and understanding rather than memorization, explaining steps in multiple ways and from various perspectives so that concepts click together easily. Whether a student needs homework help, test prep, or long-term support, I'm willing to help out and help them achieve their goals with patience and encouragement.
