About Abigail
Hi, my name is Abigail! I'm majoring in Biology and minoring in French at the University of Utah. I am a 4.0 student who leads multiple study groups on campus each semester. That's where I found my passion for tutoring. I'm a positive, patient, and kind person who genuinely cares about your success as a learner. As an added bonus, I have three younger siblings in elementary, middle, and high school, so I have experience helping learners of all levels.

I specialize in elementary math through pre-calculus. I know how difficult it is to be a student because I am one myself! As such, I have picked up many tricks along the way to be successful, and I can't wait to share them with you. I tailor my lessons around every individual according to their learning style and speed. For some, a typical session may look like breaking down homework problems into small, manageable steps. For others, I may simulate a testing environment and provide tips to help with time management and test anxiety. I offer a unique style of teaching centered around active participation to make concepts more digestible and even fun!
