About Emily
I have multiple years of teaching experience, primarily in 1st grade. 1st grade is a transformative year for learning to read and I believe one of the most important- a good teacher can help students go from slowly sounding out short words to fluently reading paragraphs. The key is helping them unlock the code.
I have a master's degree in early childhood education and have taught many students to become confident readers.
