About Vivian
Hi! My name is Vivian, and I’m a math tutor. I have experience working with a wide range of math subjects, including Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1, and college-level mathematics.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to their individual needs, whether they need help catching up, preparing for an exam, completing homework, or building a stronger foundation in math.

My approach is focused on making math easier to understand through patient, step-by-step explanations rather than simply giving answers. I adapt my teaching to each student and encourage them to ask questions, practice independently, and understand the reasoning behind each solution.
Lessons typically include reviewing difficult concepts, working through examples together, and practicing problems independently. I aim to create a supportive environment where students can make mistakes, build confidence, and improve their skills.
I tutor Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1, and college-level/remedial math, as well as homework help and test preparation.
