About Hon Chi
Hi! I'm a Statistics and Data Science student at UC Santa Barbara with a strong foundation in high school math, including Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Statistics. As a first-generation college student and former transfer student, I understand how challenging school can feel—and I’m here to help make it easier. I’ve worked with students who felt overwhelmed or behind, and I focus on creating a calm and encouraging learning environment. I believe that anyone can succeed in math with the right support, clear explanations, and consistent practice. I’m also trilingual in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, which allows me to connect with a wider range of students.
