About Theo
I am an 18 year old about to start a degree in physics, meaning I have experience studying academically rigorous subjects including physics and mathematics. I hope to also inspire students to enjoy studying their chosen subject, not just to do well in exams as I believe students achieve much more when they either enjoy their study or are passionate about achieving their goals in that field. Additionally, I believe I can connect well with young pupils due to my experience with many of the challenges they will face, not just academically but also mentally. This similarity to my tutees allows me to connect well with students and helps them to feel more secure and supported during lessons.

My lessons are aimed at GCSE or A level students studying physics or maths who want to improve their subject knowledge, exam performance or both. As a Physics student myself who took academically challenging A levels, I understand the level to which young people are pushed better than many older teachers. Thus, my lessons will focus not only on improving understanding of the subject but also the different aspects to developing exam techniques. These include: applying knowledge to unfamiliar context, time management and also the mental preparation to stay calm and focused. As mentioned I am a physics student about to start an undergraduate degree in Physics so I have a passion for this field and the related mathematics that I hope to pass on to any tutees. Qualifications: GCSEs: 6 grade 9s and 4 grade 8s Including all 9s in Maths and all sciences A Levels: Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths Predicted grades of A*,A*,A*, A respectively (full grades released this summer)
