About Elfine
I studied drawing and painting in Ghent at Kask and before that I studied graphic design in Brussels at St-Lucas. I prefer to work it on paper using the on-board materials. It is often said that error is human, I think that is precisely what makes a work unique. learn to tempt, to try and to find passion, patience and the awakening of the senses in error.

My method is based on different aspects of drawing. One aspect is that of exploring new materials. I encourage my students to get rid of the fear of error very often the most surprising and interesting creation and occur during an "error". I also pay a lot of attention, to the objective observation of the object of the drawing, so that the drawing is not just the idea or the image of a hand, but that particular object. I seek to awaken a constant curiosity about what surrounds us and to understand anatomy. I also encourage my students to research and observe the working methods and materials used by the artists who inspire them.
