About Damini
I grew up in Malawi, Africa, around vibrant colours, patterns and amazing craft of all kinds. Moving to India i explored Indian art styles as well as Indian art history. Combining the two aspects of my roots, i create a different approach for all kinds of Art students. To learn art is not defined by age but by who you are. I wish to help young artists find themselves the way my art journey helped me discover me.

Beginning with abstract drawing, drawing that come from the imagination of the student, this helps the student to find out their thoughts and areas of interest.
In the later classes, i would like to explore still life of objects and of the self such as portraits. This study can lead to other topics to explore such as caricatures or surrealism which could be combined with the outcome of the abstract art classes.
Through out the classes, we would be exploring different mediums such as pencil, pen, ink, acrylic, poster. as well as mixed media with found objects! exploring techniques as collage and instillations, sculptures..etc
