For children, according to the methodological lines outlined in the elementary dance teachings, the methodology will be characterized by being active and participatory through different activities such as recreational exercises where they feel motivated to learn new knowledge, improvisational activities, both individual and group sessions where creativity is encouraged and learning is facilitated in the students, in addition to fostering the relationship between them. In order for the student to internalize and learn to apply the knowledge, it is important that continuous learning takes place over time where the teacher interrelates the content that is acquired. Throughout the teaching process, it is a priority that the student feel motivated, so different exercises, games where they discover and feel the need to learn, group activities or the use of attractive music and rhythms, among other aspects, will be carried out. For the improvement of the students in the learning process, the teacher must indicate some guidelines and clarify concepts collectively, although taking into account the needs of each of the members of the group, providing individualized attention when they require it. For older individuals, the methodological line to be followed is traditional or direct instruction, merging with a participatory teaching model in which the student actively participates in their own learning process, individualized, adapting the pace of learning to the needs of each student, and cognitive, giving importance to learning vocabularies and proper nomenclatures necessary to be able to execute movements with logic. The most conceptual aspects will be progressively worked on so that the student acquires the vocabulary and nomenclatures necessary to understand and be able to express with ease the steps and movements that he works in a technical and interpretive way. The teaching method will be flexible and inclusive, in which it adapts to the number of students, sex, facilities, material, age, group, etc. In addition, the self-discipline of the students will be promoted. Learning will be progressive in terms of basic technical concepts, meaningful allowing relationships to be established between previous and new knowledge, participatory promoting participation and group work, and creative using improvisation as a means. The relation of the work of the technical aspect in the student will have excessive importance, so that this controls both his body and the elements that intervene, and the importance of the interpretive aspect.
