About Gabriel
I am 20 years old and I have just finished my two years of ECS preparatory class (11 hours of mathematics per week) at the Chateaubriand high school in Rennes and will be joining EDHEC Business School in September 2022. I hold a scientific baccalaureate, mathematics specialty, with honors (European and Latin section). I will be happy to share my working methods, advice and acquired experiences.

Hello,
I offer distance math lessons for Third, Second, First and Terminale students.
Depending on the needs, I can also provide tutoring in other disciplines. The ECS preparatory class gave me a multidisciplinary background of high quality allowing me to deal with these other subjects in addition: History, Geography and Geopolitics of the Contemporary World (HGGMC), Philosophy, French, English and German.
I adapt my teaching according to the profile of each student. I first make sure that the theory is well understood before moving on to the practical part with exercises. This seems to me essential to confront the difficulty. I prepare my course hours in advance in conjunction with the expectations of the official program. I will provide the student with the course material, the standard exercises as well as my personal correction.
For a one hour lesson, here is my modus operandi:
- 15 minutes of correction of exercise(s) given previously and deepening if the need arises
- 35 minutes of lessons, methodology and direct application on typical exercises
- 10 minutes of feedback on the session, on any remaining questions and sending of exercises to look for for the next session
The course of the session can be adapted to the student's wishes, as is the videoconferencing platform used, equipped with a virtual whiteboard: Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, etc.
The first hour is free. It will be intended to discuss the expectations of the student as well as to target his shortcomings. Depending on the time remaining, we can finish with lessons or exercises to give you an overview of my skills.
€18/hour for all levels.
