About Lauren
My name is Lauren Baydaline and I am a senior at Emory University. I am currently pursuing majors in Anthropology and Human Biology, and in Biology. I am also on the pre-med track. In addition, I am a writer and editor for the student newspaper. I also have experience working in a lab and shadowing a plethora of physicians. During my spare time I love reading and can sometimes consume an entire book in the span of a couple hours. I can't wait to meet you!

I am someone who believes in collaborative learning. Working with me means helping me meet you where you are at. My typical teaching method involves going through foundational basics to help aid in understanding. A typical lesson plan would be that a student can bring me a topic, lesson, or problem they are stumped on and I would provide outside tools such as videos, notes, visual drawing, and practice problems. In addition, I hope to help with teaching students good note-taking strategies and study techniques. I am caring, supportive, empathetic, and understanding which I believe sets me apart. As a student myself, I deeply understand what your students are going through and hope to help inspire a love of learning. My lessons are perfect for elementary aged students, middle schoolers, and high schoolers. I am able to teach English, Reading, Writing, Intro Biology, and Anatomy.
