About Lucia
I am from Malaga, Spain. I lived in London for a year, during which I took my GCSE's, and I am currently studying English Literature with Creative Writing as an international student in Newcastle University.
Having had to learn a foreign language myself, i understand the struggles of using it with confidence and am willing to support you in the process.
I love learning about different cultures and sharing my own. I have experience working as a Spanish Ambassador in Newcastle University.
I have also helped teenagers preparing for their GCSE's, as well as taught smaller children.
I am always happy to share Spanish book recommendations and interesting conversations about this beautiful culture.

¡Hola!
I want you to enjoy the Spanish culture in a supportive environment built upon dialogue and curiosity. I am completely flexible and will tailor the lessons to all goals and students.
My lessons are always interactive and very creative, involving the reading of Spanish literature, listening to Spanish music... from which we discover more about the culture and gain new vocabulary. This is followed with grammar explanation and writing exercises.
I will encourage a constant conversation in Spanish along the lesson, improving the fluency and confidence of my students.
After the lessons, I will provide the students with
- Notes of the contents studied
- Additional tasks to consolidate new vocabulary.
- A topic to chose by the student, which we will discuss in the following lesson.
I am patient and encouraging, and truly enjoy teaching this beautiful language. I am really looking forward to sharing my passion with motivated students!
