About
I tutored all throughout my four years of undergraduate college. I have worked in educational programs all over in settings as varied as Outdoor Science Schools in Oregon, Sports Coaching in Los Angeles, Youth Development in the country of Peru, and New York City public schools. I love to travel and am deeply motivated by curiosity. I want to learn as much as possible about my students so I can help them to the best of my abilities.

I focus on intrinsic motivation within the subject by developing the students sense of competence, autonomy, and relatedness. The student needs to feel competent and that the material is approachable. They need to be given the right tools so they can solve the problems on their own, and they need to be able to place the lesson in relation to their life. By facilitating these core concepts the student can excel in their subject.
