About Arjuna
Hello everyone :) I am currently finishing a M2 (master's level, year 2) in International Relations and Diplomacy, after having validated a M1 (year 1) in International Relations in China (specialization on the Asian world), as well as a dual bachelor's degree in Law and Political Science.
I was born and raised in Hong Kong (French father, Hong Kongese mother). I attended the French International School in Hong Kong from kindergarten to upper 6 and obtained my baccalauréat in 2012 (honors).
I speak fluently French, English and Cantonese and am comfortable in Chinese (Mandarin).
I already have qui a few teaching experiences, whether one-on-one or in groups. I already gave private lessons in English, Chinese, French as well as tutoring for middle/high school students (mathematics, French, history, etc.). During my exchange year in China, I was also an English teacher, giving lessons to groups of 2-8 students.
In addition to doing my M2, I also did a civic service (French national service). I volunteered 7 months for a French NGO in in a disadvantaged neighborhood of Otjiwarongo (Namibia), working in a library and a kindergarten. It was a great and successful experience, and I know have the confirmation that I can be a good teacher while being nice. I am currently based in Paris but I often return to Rennes, Lyon and Avranches (Normandy), so I can move in or around these cities if we manage to plan in advance. If you like me and want to continue to have lessons with me, I can also give lessons via webcam :)
I have had the chance to visit forty or so countries in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, America and Oceania. Traveling helped shape my character and I am very open minded.

I do not have a specific methodology and adapt my method of teaching to each student, according to his or her character, level, preferences and depending on the subject studied. However, it seems to me that getting to know each other at the beginning is essential in order to build a trusted relationship and get the most of each one. My father, a high school teacher for 30 years, passed on his teaching skills.
We will achieve great things together :)
