About Dana
I am currently studying Mathematics at Loughborough University, one of the UK's leading universities for both mathematics and sport. Alongside my degree, I compete for the university tennis team and hold a Level 2 Tennis Coaching Qualification.
My academic background has given me a strong understanding of mathematics, while my coaching experience has taught me how to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit individual needs and learning preferences.
Whether the goal is improving confidence, achieving higher exam grades, or developing tennis skills, I am committed to creating a positive, supportive, and professional learning environment. Hi, I'm Dana, a Mathematics student at Loughborough University and a university tennis player with a Level 2 Tennis Coaching qualification.
I offer both Mathematics tutoring and Tennis coaching, tailoring each lesson to the individual's goals, ability level, and learning style. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence, understanding key concepts, and developing practical skills through clear explanations and structured practice.
For Mathematics, I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and use worked examples to ensure students fully understand the material before moving on to exam-style questions. I encourage active participation and adapt lessons to areas where students need the most support.
For Tennis, I focus on developing sound technique, tactical awareness, movement, and consistency. Sessions are designed to be engaging and enjoyable while helping players improve their performance and confidence on court. As a current university player and qualified coach, I combine technical coaching with practical match-play experience.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if required.
I am currently studying Mathematics at Loughborough University and have extensive experience helping students understand mathematical concepts and improve their exam performance. In tennis, I hold a Level 2 Coaching Qualification and regularly compete and train at university level.
