About NJ
I am currently a student of mathematics at the University of Sheffield. I find teaching helps me strengthen the foundation of my knowledge, making me a stronger mathematician. At A level I studied maths, computer science and history. I have always found that the way maths is traditionally taught does not resonate with me and I always learnt the content on my own separately from a classroom. This way of learning has given me the ability to convey the way I came to understand a concept.

I tutor GCSE and A level. Lessons will mostly be 1 hour long but can be flexible. I will engage with a student and will fashion specific lessons for different students and their respective needs. Lessons will have lots of practical tasks to test and consolidate their knowledge. I have worked with children and adults with disabilities in the past and will apply that to the lessons.
