About Mateo
I am an NYU student and have been speaking French my whole life. I have attended French elementary, French middle and high school and have completed the French baccalaureate with highest honors. Many years spent in France and my interest in my country's culture gave me a fair amount of knowledge in the variety of its foods, literature, and language itself. What I want is for my student to be open to talk to me, and communicate new ideas and with this, get better at speaking, listening and reading in French.

My lessons are not going to be grammar and writing. Instead, they invite students that are intermediate, meaning being a minimum comfortable speaking the language, to discuss with me in French and learn about French culture. 45 minutes of discussion, reading, and an invitation to share thoughts on articles, novels, movies, food, or politics.
