About Shantanu
I am a IB Year 2 student, giving lessons for about 2 years now to my fellow peers. Those who I help usually understand the topic at the end of the session. I did my Maths GCSE at Higher Level a year early and achieved a score of 192/200. After which I proceeded to achieve a predicted level 9 for my Further Maths paper, but due to COVID, I couldn't.

My teaching method involves exploring the concept of the topic as much as the procedure. I believe that understanding the 'Why?' behind the 'How?' immensely helps pave the route for their overall grasp of the topic. I have a deep passion for maths, which was non-existent until my teacher used a similar approach and let me explore without the pressure of examinations. This helped consolidate my understanding of the topic, and this is what I wish to implement as well. I hope to inspire my students to share the same passion of maths as I do.
