About Ruby
Having studied languages as a non native speaker, I understand the challenges of learning languages and the difficulties faced when doing so. Through the encouragement, support and guidance from incredible native speakers, I have grown to become extremely passionate about languages and language learning, and therefore hope to be able to provide the same to other students, encouraging a love for languages. I studied French, Spanish and Italian at GCSE, achieving Grade 9 in all three, as well as French and Spanish A Level (A*), so am familiar with the work required to improve grades in languages, and aim to help younger students to reach their potential too.

With prior experience of 1:1 tutoring of secondary school, in particular GCSE, students, I am able to provide a personal, tailored and encouraging approach to students needing additional support in their language studies.
Providing flexible lessons from 30-60 minutes, I am able to get to know a student well and understand their learning style, and can tailor my teaching method accordingly; I am able to work alongside them to get the best out of their strengths whilst nourishing their weaknesses, and improving confidence.
