About Henry
I am in my second year at Dartmouth College, where I have taught introductory Spanish drills since enrolling. I am on track for a minor in Spanish. I learned the language through a combination of IB courses in high school and my own self-study, and earned a score of 7 on the IB Spanish SL exam. I have loved every moment of learning and using my second language, and I hope to help new students find that same joy.

I work around the student's learning objectives, whether that's to perform well on a test or travel in Latin America. I specialize in introductory Spanish (grammar, vocabulary, etc) but am able to instruct most levels. My instructing experience comes from Dartmouth College where the Rassias Method is used, so students can expect fun, fast-paced, occasionally loud language drills for building proficiency. I'm a native English speaker, so I understand the process of going from zero to proficient, and how intimidating that can be; I know from experience that an empathetic tutor can make a huge difference in the learning process.
