About Jonny
I enjoy tutoring as it enables me to help others in succeeding to express themselves in another language. I especially enjoy helping others achieve their aim, whether this be in passing an exam, scoring high marks in an exercise, or improving general fluency. I believe that one on one tutoring can be fun and fulfilling whilst simultaneously proving to be efficient and worthwhile, and strive to ensure all my sessions are held to this standard.

I aim to build your confidence in the French language through various methods, ranging from rigorous comprehension and understanding of grammar, alongside fun and engaging exercises. Lessons can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour and are subject to your own preference. I've spoken French since having grown up in France, and continued to learn the language in a British schooling environment. Within this environment I tutored to a variation of abilities, ranging from 6+ years old, all the way up to A-level standard. I provided help in homework, revision and exam preparation. I'm a 1st year university student at the University of Edinburgh studying an MA in French and Philosophy.

Jonny is a very understanding and patient teacher who aims to get the best out of each of this students. If you are looking for teacher who is chatty and encouraging then I promise Jonny’s lessons to be very engaging. My daughter’s French ability was boosted massively thanks to Jonny through his detailed and comprehensive lesson plans.
Jonny has a very patient and understanding teaching style and is strong at finding the best in each of his students. I would recommend him to any children who desire a friendly and chatty teacher who is able to make the tutoring process highly engaging.
Found Jonny on the Superprof website for my daughter who was struggling with French. Jonny was very helpful with hours and was always very helpful for my daughter. He is an excellent teacher and helped my daughter come on leaps and bounds with her French work.
