About Ethan
I enjoy inspiring confidence and intrigue in students regarding the wide and versatile subject of chemistry. Chemistry is applicable to most all interests and truly helps us understand the world around (and even inside!) us and so I am incredibly passionate about spreading awareness of this subject. I have helped a student struggling in foundation double science reach higher triple award science through my tutoring and saw her interest and understanding grow as we built her confidence.

I tend to explain the concept at hand visually on a whiteboard where possible, connecting any concept to its function in the context of science as a wider concept to allow easier memorisation and comprehension. I then go through exam questions providing model answers and reviewing mark schemes in order to identify patterns in marking. I then provide exam questions to the student and offer advice, support and mark it with the student against a mark scheme.
