About Dhruv
Hi! I'm a University of Pennsylvania student studying finance at Wharton and biophysics through the Life Sciences and Management dual-degree program. I scored a 1560 on the SAT and ran an educational nonprofit that tutored over 50 families. My experience in scientific research, healthcare investing, and consulting has strengthened my analytical and communication skills.
I offer personalized SAT preparation and college-essay coaching, with patient explanations, constructive feedback, and clear next steps. The SAT has particularly tricky questions, and I have defined strategies for how to tackle them. I help students build effective problem-solving strategies and express their experiences authentically, while gaining confidence and independence.
Having recently navigated the application process myself, I understand how overwhelming it can feel.

- Especially for the SAT reading section, there are a couple of concrete techniques that are used over and over again, which I will explain
Lesson plan will include working through problems together. I like to provide a framework for students, so they have a clear path to follow whenever they start on a problem.
Essay writing help includes my own annotated college essays + walkthroughs of what is most important.
Classes are ideal for students in 10th-12th grade.
