About Medina
I’m a passionate German language tutor with a deep appreciation for the richness and diversity of the German-speaking world. I teach using the Goethe Institute method—a structured, communicative approach that builds a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, listening, and speaking. But what truly sets my lessons apart is what I add beyond the standard curriculum. In our sessions, you’ll not only learn Hochdeutsch (standard German), but also explore the unique dialects of cities across Germany, as well as Austrian German and Swiss German. I believe language is more than rules—it’s living culture, and understanding how people really speak opens up a whole new level of fluency and connection. I started teaching because I genuinely love helping others find their voice in a new language. Seeing a student grow in confidence and start to express themselves freely in German is incredibly rewarding for me. Whether you’re just beginning or preparing for advanced exams, I’ll guide you at your own pace—with patience, structure, and a personal touch. Let’s discover the German language together—not just how it’s taught in books, but how it’s lived every day.

I teach using the trusted and effective Goethe Institute method, which provides a solid foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills. But that’s just the beginning.
In addition to standard German, we’ll also explore the fascinating dialects spoken in different German cities, as well as Austrian German and Swiss German. This will give you a deeper understanding of regional expressions, pronunciation, and cultural nuances—something textbooks alone can’t offer.
