About Hilde
I am a mother of two, who’s spent many years studying and tutoring keeps me connected to my favourite topic of maths and science. I go back to basics to make sure that you’ll always be able to work out answers from first principles. My family have always put a premium on lifelong learning so I aim to give you the skills to take your learning further outside of tutoring sessions. Maths and science will give you strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills for life.

I have tutoring experience of over 8 years. Firstly during my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and then for 5 years in Essex before the birth of my first child. I have a Physics BSc (Hons) from King's College London, a master in Nuclear Physics from Birmingham University and an MBA from Yale University.
I always start with establishing a firm foundation in maths skills to help build their knowledge to achieve their goals. I want to inspire them so that they see how hard work will give results they can be proud of. I only tutor children I know I can help, as it’s important to find the right tutor for the child.
