About Anna
I am an enthusiastic tutor with a robust academic and extracurricular background. I completed high school with a 4.7 GPA, which taught me the significance of academic achievement and effective time management. Currently, I am studying psychology at Virginia Tech, where I am also broadening my knowledge of social and emotional learning—an approach I deeply value in my tutoring and coaching methods.

While near my home, I provided one-on-one tutoring to elementary school children, employing various teaching techniques emphasizing active learning. I frequently applied a flipped classroom model, encouraging students to interact with new content outside the conventional framework and inspiring them to become self-sufficient learners. I also transformed education into an engaging and enjoyable experience by integrating games, puzzles, and demonstrations, ensuring the lessons remained centered on the students. My objective has always been to tailor my approach to each child's preferred learning style, providing a customized method to empower them in their educational journey.
