About Maya
I'm a student currently studying history and politics at the University of Nottingham and have really enjoyed my first year. I'm passionate about the field of history and think it's important students understand such important events that have shaped the past. I'm full of energy and make lessons as engaging and interactive as possible, trying to build a personal relationship with the tuttee and not just academic.

I start with weekly quizzes to see if the student can actively recall the lesson from the week before and then move onto content before finishing with exam-style questions. Lessons are 1 hour long. I have 1 year experience as a private GCSE history tutor.
