My approach to tutoring is student-centered and practical, focusing on building confidence in real-world communication.
- Teaching techniques & methodology:
I use a mix of interactive speaking drills, pronunciation practice (drawing on my broadcasting and teaching background), and tailored exercises. For beginners, we start with pinyin and basic conversation; for school-age students, I align lessons with their curriculum needs; and for those preparing for HSK 1–4 or speech competitions, I use targeted practice and feedback.
- Typical lesson length:
Lessons are usually 60 minutes, with a short 2–3 minute break in the middle to keep focus fresh. We can also offer flexible options for 30-minute intensive sessions or 90-minute deep-dive classes, depending on your goals.
- Qualifications & experience:
I am a native Mandarin speaker with 6 years of teaching experience, holding a Mandarin proficiency certificate, broadcasting qualification, and teaching certification.
