About Simran
I am a chemical engineering student who has been a teaching assistant for 2 classes - Chemical Engineering Principles of Biological Systems, and Thermodynamics I. Additionally I am a Supplemental Instructor for Thermodynamics II at UMass Amherst which means that I attend lectures, create my own worksheets, and hold sessions twice a week for students who want extra practice with class concepts and problems.

I base my classes on example. I find that students learn best by applying concepts and their knowledge to particular problems, especially real world examples. I like to cater to students needs and progress on a topic - first I many walk them through an example, next I will outline a problem, and finally I will give them a problem to do completely on their own.
