About Doreen
Teaching is rarely about the notes on the page. It involves posture, hand position, and pedaling technique for a better sound.
With an Artist Diploma in Vocal Studies from Singapore Management University, I approach keys with a singer ear. I cover grade exam prep, memorization, and sight transposition for all my pupils. The process involves rhythm, classical repertoire, and pop accompaniment basics.

My 7 years of experience allow me to integrate the Singapore MOE syllabus alongside ABRSM and Trinity requirements. Prior to setting a learning plan, we conduct a diagnostic playing assessment to determine your exact starting point. You will appreciate the clarity of a 7.0 score approach that connects technical drills to the contemporary songs you want to play.
