About Natalie
I am a patient and encouraging English literacy and writing tutor who enjoys helping students feel more confident with reading, writing, grammar, and essay structure.
I understand that writing can feel overwhelming, especially when a student is unsure how to start, organize ideas, or explain their thoughts clearly. My approach is calm, supportive, and step-by-step. I help students break assignments into manageable pieces, understand what their teacher is asking for, and build stronger writing skills over time.
I can support students with reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, paragraph writing, essay planning, thesis statements, outlines, editing, and revision. I focus on helping students learn the process, not just fixing one assignment.
My goal is to help each student become a more confident, independent reader and writer while making lessons feel clear, approachable, and encouraging.

Each lesson is customized to the student’s needs. We can work on reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, paragraph writing, essay structure, outlines, thesis statements, editing, or homework assignments.
I help students break writing into smaller steps so it feels less stressful. Together, we can plan ideas, organize paragraphs, improve sentence clarity, strengthen arguments, and revise drafts while making sure the student understands the process.
My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their skills, and become more independent readers and writers.
