About Jashandeep
Hi I'm Jashandeep. I'm a Law student at the University of Manchester, with a passion for history, politics and essays as a topic. I know that history can sometimes be very difficult due to how many topics you have to know, but I know that with some structure and help, it's easier for students to improve a lot.
I'm a patient, organised and friendly tutor, whose lessons would always be structured so students felt comfortable asking questions and mistakes so they improve gradually. I'd always teach a topic in depth so students understand and remember it, rather than cramming it.
My expertise lies in the Cold War and Tudors, along with broader skills including source analysis, interpretations, essay writing and exam technique. As a Law student, I regularly put these skills into practice during my studies, using arguments, understanding evidence and writing in clear and concise methods.
I try and teach as seriously and professionally as possible, with a consistent understanding that I need to be ready and well prepared for lessons. My aim is to give each student as much help as possible so they improve and are more confident at history.

My name is Jashandeep and I'm a Law student at the University of Manchester providing tutoring for GCSE and A-Level History. My specialist subjects for tuition are Cold War and Tudor history although I also assist with broader History skills such as essay writing, sources, interpretations, exam technique and revision planning.
I aim to deliver lessons in a structured, clear and encouraging manner; where challenging topics are broken down into clear explanations, timelines and essay plans are created, students' ability to create an argument is developed, evidence is used effectively, and understanding of analysis and examiner expectations is focused upon.
I generally teach an hour long lesson which can be altered to individual student needs. Lessons may concentrate on subject knowledge and revision, essay construction, exam questions, coursework, or looking through school based feedback.
